Bring Your Own Device Policy and Procedure

Overview

The Department of Health is committed to the protection of WA health system data, information and systems. As part of this commitment, a new Department of Health Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy and Procedure has been prepared and is open for consultation.

The policy sets out requirements for secure and controlled use of personal devices for work purposes within the Department of Health and the procedure outlines the conditions of use for staff using personal devices for work purposes.

Feedback is sought on whether the policy clearly explains the requirements.

This is an internal consultation and is open only to Department of Health employees.
