Overview
This consultation is to provide Department of Health staff with the opportunity to view and provide feedback on the Department's Climate Action Plan 2022-2024 (the Plan), which was considered by the Department Executive Committee (DEC) on 11 July.
About the plan:
In November 2021, we asked our staff to identify what actions they wanted the department to take towards reducing its environmental footprint. This feedback formed the basis of the Climate Action Plan, particularly the actions identified across priority areas which was developed by Corporate Services.
In addition, the Sustainable Development Unit was consulted during development and feedback sought on the draft plan.
The Plan aims to reduce the environmental impact of the Department's operational activities and commit towards more innovative and environmentally friendly ways of working.
It aligns with current WA climate change strategy and policy directions and has been informed by concurrent work currently being undertaken by Health Service Providers and health departments interjurisdictionally.
About this consultation:
The consultation will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback will be considered during finalisation of the Plan for approval and subsequent implementaton planning.
Before you start this survey, it is recommended that you download a copy of the plan at the bottom of this page and review.
