2020 DoH Policy Essentials Program Nomination Form

Closed 16 Jan 2020

Opened 13 Dec 2019

Overview

Department of Health’s Policy Essentials Program (PEP) is designed specifically to enhance the skills and capability of our policy officers. Modelled on the very successful Public Sector Commission’s, Policy Essentials Program, the 2020 program will draw on policy expertise from within the WA health system and across the public sector.

The program consists of four one-day workshops to be held between February and May 2020, with a second program planned for the second half of 2020. It caters for all learning styles and includes expert speakers, theoretical, practical and out-of-workshop learning activities, including a group project.

Interested eligible staff (PSA Levels 5-7 or equivalent) should seek their manager’s provisional approval prior to submitting their nomination. Participants who are unsuccessful in gaining a place in Program One 2020 PEP may be waitlisted for the following PEP to be held in the second half of 2020.
