Annual review of the State Public Health Plan
Overview
The State Public Health Plan 2025–2030 was published on 4 June 2025. Under section 43(3) of the Public Health Act 2016, the Chief Health Officer must review the Plan annually and may amend or replace it as needed.
As part of the annual review, the Chief Health Officer is seeking information from WA Health colleagues on:
- any new or emerging public health priorities, or shifts in focus; and
- what support is provided by the Department and Health Service Providers (HSPs) to enable public health planning in WA, both at a state and local government level.
The information received from this survey will help identify emerging priorities, assess the level of current support and capacity, and highlight opportunities to strengthen the next iteration of the Plan.
This survey will take approximately 5-15 minutes.
For any issues completing the form, please contact DoH.PHPlanning@health.wa.gov.au.
