WA Youth Health Policy Community Conversations Online

Closed 14 Dec 2017

Opened 19 Oct 2017

The Child and Youth Health Network, WA Department of Health has been speaking with young people aged 10-24 years in WA as part of a series of Community Conversations which will help inform the WA Youth Health Policy 2018-2023 (the Policy).

The Policy is a way to voice the health and wellbeing needs of young people aged 10-24 years and aims to advise health services on how to best support young people be the healthiest they can.

We would also like to hear from you so we can be sure we have the right priorities and outcomes listed within the draft Policy.

Should you be interested, the current drafts of the Policy and Companion Resource are available in PDF and Word for you to read under the 'Related' heading below.

If you have any queries or need assistance, please contact Health Networks either by email healthpolicy@health.wa.gov.au or phone 9222 0200.

Why We Are Consulting

We believe it is important that the WA community, including young people, their parents and carers have the opportunity to have their say about the health and wellbeing needs of young people. We are very interested in your responses, ideas, advice and recommendations. Your feedback will help us develop the final version of the Policy.

If you wish to participate in a survey asking people who use health services to give feedback on the Policy document, please visit the consumer survey https://consultation.health.wa.gov.au/strategy/consumer_survey

If you wish to provide feedback on the Policy in a professional capacity, please visit the service provider consultation https://consultation.health.wa.gov.au/strategy/service_providers_consultation
