Overview

The Older Person Health Network Falls Management Special Interest Group has developed the Western Australian Guidelines for Patient Education for Preventing Falls in Hospital Settings 2025 and is conducting a health professional and consumer consultation on the draft guidelines. 

Why your views matter

The information and feedback you provide in this survey will inform the completion of the Western Australian Guidelines for Patient Education for Preventing Falls in Hospital Settings 2025, as well as supporting its implementation across the state. It will transform the current draft to a finalised version.

Target responders to this consultation are health professionals in Western Australia working with patients in hospital settings, consumers and carers. 

Completing this consultation

The survey is expected to take approximately 20 minutes to complete (including time to read and review the draft consultation document) and consists of demographic and guideline specific questions.

Before commencing this survey, please ensure you have downloaded the 'Western Australian Guidelines for Patient Education for Preventing Falls in Hospital Setting 2025'. (see link in the “Related Documents” below) and have it available to refer to.
