Opened 26 Aug 2021

Overview

The WA Department of Health is leading a statewide Outpatient Reform Program which aims to transform the patient journey - making it simpler to navigate, ensuring every appointment adds value and improving access for those most in need.

Investment in key system level improvements across the outpatient journey will position health services to provide timely access to high value public outpatient care for all Western Australians.

Why your views matter

Understanding patient’s experiences and needs when accessing outpatient care is integral to the Outpatient Reform Program. Capturing and responding to this information will ensure public outpatient services, supports and reform initiatives are designed to meet the needs of patients and provide equitable, high quality and person-centered care.

This survey seeks to understand what the ideal outpatient journey looks and feels like from a patient or carer’s perspective.

By participating in this survey and sharing your experience, you will be actively contributing to the improvement of public specialist outpatient services across WA.
