Closed 8 Jun 2020

Opened 11 May 2020

Overview

The Department of Health WA would like to gain an understanding of how COVID-19 may have impacted the experience of patients across the cancer care pathway, from diagnosis to treatment, survivorship and end of life.

The questions within this survey have been developed by the  Continuous Improvement in Care - Cancer (CIC Cancer) Project.  The CIC Cancer Project is a program of research that works to drive improvements in care and patient reported outcomes and experiences.

Why your views matter

To inform the implementation of the WA Cancer Plan 2020-2025, the Department of Health WA is undertaking consultation to explore the impact COVID-19 may have had on your cancer care.

Your responses will help to increase understanding of variations in the Western Australian experience of cancer care and to identify areas across the cancer care pathway that potentially need to be addressed during or following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your privacy is important to us. Responses to questions in this survey are optional, any information you choose to provide will be stored confidentially. The results from the survey will not be linked to you and only aggregated results will be shared beyond the project team to ensure your privacy and anonymity is maintained.

The information provided will be used to guide future initiatives across WA Health with the intention of improving the care of people diagnosed with cancer.
