Closed 14 Jun 2019

Opened 13 May 2019

Overview

The State Government has made a commitment to support research and innovation in WA through the establishment of the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund and a long-term strategic approach to cancer research in WA. The WA Department of Health is currently developing the WA Cancer Plan 2020 – 2025 that will address these commitments.

The WA Cancer Plan 2020 – 2025 will provide strategic direction for WA to achieve a well-coordinated, high-standard, consumer-focussed cancer care system, that includes long-term strategic directions for cancer research.

Why your views matter

To inform the development of the WA Cancer Plan 2020 – 2025, the Department of Health is undertaking consultation to explore key focus areas for  cancer research in WA that capitalise on our strengths, address critical needs and position the State to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

All members of the community – individuals and organisations, are encouraged to provide a submission or complete the survey.
