Closed 24 Feb 2020

Opened 12 Feb 2020

Overview

A draft Organisational Development Program has been developed and is open for consultation. All DoH staff are encouraged to review the draft plan and provide feedback.

The Program has been developed in response to your feedback in the Minister for Health – Your Voice in Health Survey as well as aligning to:

  • WA Health system’s Sustainable Health Review (2019)
  • Cabinet Service’s Priority Review (2017)
  • Integrity Strategy for WA Public Authorities (2020-2023)
  • People With Disability: Action Plan to improve WA Public Sector Employment Outcomes (2020-2025)
  • Health Leadership Strategic Intent (2019-2029) and
  • Government priorities.

A number of initiates identified in the Program have already commenced and we hope you are starting to see some of the positive changes around the Department such as the recent announcement of corporate health insurance agreements, the establishment of a Health and Wellbeing Committee and calendar of wellness initiatives, regular reporting to DEC on our diversity metrics, Office 365 and OSH for Mangers training, and the migration to a new Learning Management System platform with new online courses coming soon.

We value your feedback and want to ensure we haven’t missed any high-level initiatives you really want to see.
