Register your Expression of Interest in Early adoption of PROMs

Overview

In 2026, WA Health is planning to begin early adoption of a statewide, generic quality-of-life Patient-Reported Outcome Measure (PROM) to consistently capture patients’ perspectives on how illness or care impacts their health and wellbeing.

We are seeking to understand the level of interest and readiness across services to participate in a future early adoption program. This program will involve trialling the PROM tools in real clinical settings and helping shape how they are embedded into everyday care.

At this stage, we are inviting clinicians to register their interest. Registering interest involves no immediate time commitment. Individuals who register will form a pool of interested clinicians who may be contacted to:

  • Provide input or feedback on the early adoption approach
  • Receive updates on progress and upcoming opportunities

As the project progresses, those who have registered interest will also be invited to take part in more active involvement opportunities including:

  • Participating in a future early adopter program, trialling the PROMs tool in practice to help shape how they are embedded into everyday care.
  • Joining a clinical champions network to support local engagement and early adoption.
This activity will open on 4 May 2026. Please come back on or after this date to give us your views.
